FAA Extension, Safety and Security Act of 2016

Dear ARRL Members in Oklahoma:

Recently, one of your US Senators, James Inhofe, has been active in working with ARRL to address concerns in the “FAA Extension, Safety and Security Act of 2016” that placed tower marking and painting requirements on “short” amateur towers.  ARRL staff and volunteers have been working with Senator Inhofe’s staff to develop amended provisions to the bill which would protect amateur towers from these stringent standards.

We are asking you to please contact Senator Inhofe’s office to thank him for his work on behalf of this effort. To easily send a “thank you” note, you may use ARRL’s RallyCongress tool, where a letter has been preloaded.

To access this site, simply go to this address and fill in the form. After that, simply click the “Send Letter” button to send your message on its way to his office.

Thanks for your assistance in this important effort!
