CQ CQ Field Day CQ

The Tri-State Amateur Radio Group will hold this years Field Day Operations, June 22nd & 23rd, in conjunction with the Star-Creek Astronomical Society, at the Selman Observatory, which is located North and West of Mooreland, Ok. During the contest we will be using the call of WW5SKY, Star Creeks club call.

The facility consists of a learning center with several rooms, which can be used for individual contest stations, a large social area, bathrooms and a complete kitchen area. This area is air conditioned and has lots of space outside to erect antennas. The view is clear in all directions and should lend itself to be a good location for Field Day operations. Now lets just hope that the propagation conditions are better than they have been the past couple of days.

Setup will begin around 10am with the actual contest starting at 1pm. Lunch and supper will be provided by the Tri-State Amateur Radio Group. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite non-alcoholic beverage, any radios, antennas and accessories they would like to use.
