There is an event coming up on April 20th to test the hospitals' amateur radios. The need of volunteers that are willing go to the different hospitals and fire up the radio and check into a net has been made known.
"We will be planning to meet before hand to discuss about the net, and meet afterwards, grab some lunch, and talk about how it went.", said Nathan Huffstetler, AE5NK, the Tulsa County Emergency Coordinator.
If you are willing to be a part of a rapid response team and think this is your fit, let us know so we can add you to our list. Bart Pickens (N5TWB) is going to head this up, as one of the ARES Assistant Emergency Coordinators for Tulsa County. Bart, thanks for you support and help on the project.
