Where do you operate? #ARRL #HamRadio

Are you using FM Simplex?  What frequency or frequencies do you monitor and your location?

Locally, I use 147.51, 146.52, and 446.000 in the scanner.  Traveling, I use 146.52 mostly and  monitor the APRS alert (144.39 with 100 PL tone).

Ham Holiday 2016

Coming to Oklahoma City July 22 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM and July 23 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Central Oklahoma Radio Amateurs, Inc. will present the 42nd annual "Ham Holiday 2016" at the Biltmore Hotel, I-40 & Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK 73108 (www.biltmoreokc.com)

Please note the location has changed from last year.

Technical and nontechnical programs, DXCC /WAS card check, VE testing, flea market.  Adm: Preregistration $8; at door $10; flea market $15/table in advance; $15 for electrical service (if available); $20/table at door (if available). Online registration is open at www.HamHoliday.org l!!  Under 16 yrs of age free with paid adult.  In-house Announcements on 146.49 Mhz Simplex.

Friday evening banquet tickets ($25/person) available at online registration.  Tom Gallagher, NY2RF, the new ARRL CEO will be the banquet speaker.  Bob Allison, WB1GCM, the ARRL Product Test Engineer will conduct the ARRL Forum on Saturday along with Tom Gallagher.

Seminars on D-Star, DMR, Fusion, Winlink and CWOP will be presented on Saturday.

OKDXA and QCWA will hold meeting on Saturday also.

A Boy Scout Radio Merit Badge session will be conducted on Saturday.
