Ham Holiday 2015 is now in the books. The Board had started searching for a new home before the venue threw us a few curves this year. Friday was challenging and Saturday had a few bumps, but the ham spirit prevailed. The vendors all had a good show and two more have committed for next year.

I would like to say "thank you" to everyone who came out and those who worked the show. I'll add a special "thanks" to NN1N, ARRL Director of Field Operations Dave Patton for a great presentation at our banquet.
I can't wait for next year!

From W5NOR:
Ham Holiday has come and gone now. I’ll have more to say about it at a later time, but today I’ll just say that regarding the Testing which Peter and the SCARS VE Team manned, there were 6 new Techs, 4 who upgraded to General, and 2 Extras from the session. A good day in a very spartan location.

The Scouts got a Thank YOU:
Hello Mr. Way,
On behalf of Troop 94, we wanted to thank you and your two instructors for a wonderful Radio Merit Badge Class on Saturday.
All of our 8 scouts who attended enjoyed your class so much and a few went home telling their parents they wanted to start a new hobby….
We want you to know that your time and effort is much appreciated.
You are investing knowledge, time and energy in these young scouts lives and it will be something they will always remember and appreciate, and their parents too.
Sincerely,
Colleen Karow
Committee Member/Troop 94
From NN1N:
Tnx for bringing me to the Ham Holiday. I thought the show was excellent and you guys did a great job pulling it through the challenges which were quite rough!
Everyone was so friendly! Out in town, in the hotel, at the show – everywhere.
